Terms of Service
Last updated 12 August 2026
The service
Mapwright is a planning tool for turning an idea into a map of features and specs, which your AI coding agent can then read from and write to. It's a subscription service billed monthly.
Your account
You need a valid email address to create an account. You're responsible for keeping access to that email secure, since it's how you sign in.
Subscriptions and billing
Plans include a free trial period; you won't be charged if you cancel before it ends. After the trial, your subscription renews and bills automatically each month until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account's billing settings, which takes you to our payment provider Stripe's self-serve portal.
Your content
You own what you create in Mapwright: your projects, maps, cards and notes. We don't claim any ownership over it, and we don't use it to train AI models.
Acceptable use
Use Mapwright for its intended purpose: planning and building software projects. Don't attempt to disrupt the service, access another account's data, or use it to generate unlawful content.
Cancellation and termination
You can cancel your subscription at any time; your access continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product changes. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do.
